We’ve been having a blast at the festivals we have been able to attend.  Great people who are very supportive; a really fun community.

Little Love has been fortunate to play both as a piece of shorts programs, as well as opening for its “big sister,” the rom-com “The People I’ve Slept With” which Quentin Lee also directed.  “People” has had great festival response, and is in a series of theatrical releases in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Jose before it runs on television on Logo some time in October.

One of the common comments about Little Love we’ve heard is that people would like to know more about the characters – one of the challenges of making a character-driven piece that features three different characters in only 10 minutes.  It’s nice that people have been engaged enough with the Andy, Markus and Rafael to want to know more of their story.

We’re in the process of making Little Love available via DVD and possibly download online, because we’ve had many of our Facebook fans who are not in a festival city ask how they can see the film.

Deeeelighted to learn that we will be screening in Kansas City, Missouri at the Kansas City Gay & Lesbian Film + Video Festival on Sunday, June 27th at 8:30 pm.  The screening will take place at Tivoli Cinemas in Westport Manor Square immediately before our Director Quentin Lee’s fabulous feature “The People I’ve Slept With.”  Two very different takes on how sex impacts our lives in very fundamental ways.

We’re thrilled to be getting so many opportunities to screen at cities across the US and Internationally.  It looks like we may be included in Hong Kong in November – so just a couple more continents to book for a clean sweep.

Some of the highlights:

  • A special tour of the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts from Gusman Director Margaret Lake.
  • Sipping drinks in the wading end of the pool at the Delano with Quentin, Carol and Andrea.
  • Taking Dianna through a tour of a dodgy neighborhood on our way to the opening gala after getting trapped in traffic after a Heat game.
  • Seeing our poster put up at the entry to Mova Lounge.
  • Having Little Love/The People I’ve Slept With sell out its screening Saturday night.
  • Meeting some great fans who’d learned of the film online/through Facebook and getting some great feedback.
  • Getting to know MGLFF (Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival) organizers, staff and key supporters.

Thanks to everyone who came to the screening, gave us feedback, and spent time with us in Miami.  You all made our world premiere an amazing experience.
